About
Where We Started:
Patch Ya Later is a one-woman, Bay Area–based business founded in 2017 by designer Meaghan Mena. Inspired by vintage aesthetics and a love for nostalgic music, each piece is thoughtfully created as a small, wearable form of self-expression. What started as a personal creative outlet has grown into a space where art and individuality come together—one embroidered piece at a time.Every item is made with the intention of helping you tell your story, whether that’s through a nostalgic feeling, or something uniquely your own.
Because each product is made to order, please allow 3–4 weeks for production and shipping. This slower process allows Meaghan to stay hands-on with every piece, creating a more personal connection while also reducing waste.
Need something sooner? Check out the Ready to Ship collection for items that are already made and ready to go.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out—we’d love to hear from you.
Why We Do It:
There’s always a silver lining—the humor in heartbreak, a love for vintage design, and the kind of friendships that feel like magic.
Everything is made to last and meant to go wherever you do, collecting stories along the way. Whether it’s clipped to your bag, your keys, or something you carry every day, it’s a small reminder of where you’ve been—and what you love.
And most importantly… don’t forget to express yourself with Patch Ya Later :)
Everywhere We Go:
You can find Patch Ya Later at craft fairs, pop-ups, and through collaborations with other artists. We also work with a handful of great stockists who carry our pieces in person.
